  • Huit grues Potain s’associent pour construire l’impressionnant nouveau bâtiment CityWave à Milan

    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.
    • Ces deux sociétés, utilisatrices de longue date des grues à tour de Potain, ont travaillé aux côtés de l’équipe Lift Solutions de Manitowoc pour sélectionner une combinaison parfaite de huit grues adaptées à la forme unique du bâtiment à mesure de l’avancement de la construction.

  • Grove améliore le modèle GMK6400-1 sous la dénomination GMK6450-1

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

  • Manitowoc présente la nouvelle grue à montage automatisé Potain Igo M 24-19 au salon Batimat à Paris

    • Cette grue offre de multiples configurations pour une polyvalence et une efficacité maximale sur les chantiers.
    • Le modèle Igo M 24-19 est idéal pour la construction de maisons neuves ou pour les projets de rénovation.

  • Potain soutient le premier programme diplômant de monteur de grues à tour en France

    • La nouvelle initiative de la Potain Academy allie cours théoriques et formation pratique dédiés au montage de grues à tour. 
    • Les participants recevront un diplôme reconnu par l’État à l’issue d’un programme de dix semaines, contribuant ainsi au développement professionnel des monteurs de grues à tour.

Manitowoc expands Scandinavian footprint with new Grove dealership for Norway

Manitowoc has appointed Danish partner company UN Mobilkraner to be its exclusive mobile crane distributor in Norway. In addition to providing sales and service support for Manitowoc’s Norwegian customers the move will enable Manitowoc and UN Mobilkraner to continue to build on the strong relationship the two companies have fostered over more than two decades.

Manitowoc boosts Crane Care team for Asia

Manitowoc has made two new appointments to its Crane Care customer service team for Potain tower cranes in Asia. Jerome Carre and Jenny Chong join as customer service manager and customer service specialist respectively. Carre will report directly to Marco Zucchet director of sales and customer service for tower cranes in Asia. Chong will join the broader Crane Care team which Carre will lead.

Potain Hup 40-30 makes an award-winning debut in Eastern Europe

The Potain Hup 40-30 self-erecting crane was shown for the first time at two international building exhibitions in Eastern Europe in April. Prebold Slovenia-based Manitowoc dealer Ferokov exhibited the crane at the 40th edition of BUILDING a construction equipment fair in Zagreb Croatia. And a few weeks later the company showed the crane at the South East Europe Belgrade Building Expo (SEEBBE) in Belgrade Serbia.

Kesar Constructions uses Potain MCi 85 A to build mall in India

Founded in 2000 and based in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh Kesar Constructions specializes in residential commercial and industrial projects. In 2013 the company bought its first Potain crane an MCi 85 A. The unit was selected off the back of its reputation for reliability and productivity and Sumer Singh Rathore owner of Kesar Constructions liked the fact it was built locally.

Dual Grove all-terrains provide stability in tight quarters for Detroit demolition

Two Grove all-terrain cranes played a pivotal role in demolishing an abandoned building at a General Motors facility in Michigan. Detroit-based JJ Curran Crane used a GMK6300L and a GMK6400 to assist with one of the demolition’s most difficult tasks: the removal of a 67.5 USt steel walkway.

NFT supplies Potain cranes to new tech hub in the Middle East

China State Construction Engineering Corporation is using nine Potain tower cranes to construct a major new tech-focused development in Dubai. Silicon Park is the brainchild of developer Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority with China State Construction acting as main contractor on the job. The nine cranes were all supplied by NFT and they include eight of Potain’s advanced MCT 205 topless models plus an MC 205 B top-slewing unit.

UN Mobilkraner featured Grove GMK4100L-1 and K-100 synthetic rope at Sweden’s MaskinExpo 2017

One of Manitowoc’s most premier dealers in the Nordic region showcased one of the most cutting-edge Grove mobile cranes at this year’s MaskinExpo 2017. The equipment trade show occurred May 18–20 in Stockholm Sweden.

InterBuildExpo which takes place in Kiev Ukraine is one of the most premiere construction trade shows in Eastern Europe. One of the world’s most innovative consumer electronics companies is building a new flagship location in Chicago and a Potain MR 608 tower crane is at the center of the action. The job site which sits in close proximity to the Chicago River called for a crane that could handle the required capacities while operating within the restricted space available on the job.

A Potain Igo M 14 self-erecting crane is aiding the construction of Azura Hotel a new five-star lodging near the sea in Samara Costa Rica. The crane is acting in a supporting role lifting construction materials and other ancillary loads for one of the project’s contractors Construquick de San Jose (Construquick).

A large fleet of 15 Potain tower cranes is hard at work helping construct a new hospital complex for Aalborg University in Denmark. The job site is vast stretching across 330 000 m2 (81.5 acres) that also contain several other buildings and vehicular and pedestrian paths.
