Musselli hails delivery of Grove GMK5250L at GIS 2017
- The new crane is scheduled for delivery in November of 2017.
- It will join Musselli’s existing Grove fleet which includes a GMK4100L-1 and GMK6300L.
- The GMK5250L is one of the most powerful and versatile five-axle cranes on the market and will help the company increase its lifting versatility.
Italian rental company Musselli celebrated the purchase of a new Grove GMK5250L crane at GIS 2017 in Piacenza Italy. Musselli based in Northern Italy purchased the crane in the runup to the tradeshow and it is set to be delivered in November.
Fabrizio Musselli and his sister Ileana Musselli which represent the third generation of the family-owned rental company attended GIS 2017 to celebrate the milestone with members of the Manitowoc team.
“It’s a pleasure for Manitowoc to deliver this GMK5250L to Musselli ” said Davide Camperi area sales manager for mobile cranes at Manitowoc in Italy. “The new crane will join a GMK4100L-1 delivered in December 2016 that’s already working on a large refinery project. We’re proud to see our cranes take a leading role on such high-profile job sites.”
The GMK5250L is one of the most powerful and versatile five-axle cranes on the market. Its performance capabilities include the highest-rated capacity best load chart best maneuverability and quickest set-up time in its class. The crane features a 250 t capacity and 70 m boom. Musselli’s existing fleet includes several other Grove cranes including a GMK6300L which was purchased in 2011.
Musselli was established in the 1960s and has built a strong reputation in the region for providing cranes capable of operating in high-complexity environments. The company provides a range of rental solutions and also specializes in projects for the petrochemical industry.
