    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

Potain tower cranes construct massive new resort in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah

A fleet of 10 Potain MR 418 tower cranes is helping construct a massive new project: the Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences which is located on the crescent of the Palm Jumeirah island in Dubai United Arab Emirates. Potain business partner Abu Dhabi-based NFT supplied the cranes on a rental contract to the joint venture (JV) building the development. The JV is made up of two contractors—the Belgium-based BESIX and South Korea’s SsangYong Engineering & Construction—and the project marks the first time that MR 418 cranes have been used in the UAE.

Bolivia’s first Grove GMK6400 quickly put to work on construction projects across the country

Bolivia’s first Grove GMK6400 arrived in March and it has already taken on some major construction projects in the country. Alanoca a transport and logistics company based in El Alto added the crane to its rental fleet and put it right to work supplying it to several contractors for a wide array of projects.

A fleet of 13 Potain tower cranes is helping to build a new residential and commercial district in Regensburg Germany. The new district named “Das DÖRNBERG ” is only miles from Regenburg’s historic old town which has been a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage since 2006.

Barge-mounted MLC300 brings enhanced stability to Illinois bridge replacement

When the Manitowoc MLC300 crawler crane debuted with Variable Position Counterweight (VPC) and VPC-MAX heavy lift attachment one of its unique selling points was the crane’s barge-lifting capabilities. The reduced footprint and floating counterweight meant that it would be much more efficient for lifters to barge-mount a crawler crane. Contracting teams could erect the crane onto smaller water-based barges because the machine automatically adjusts its center of gravity for each lift.

Petro-Sea Logistics further bolsters its Grove all-terrain fleet

Petro-Sea Logistics a joint venture between Belgium’s Sea-Invest and Ivory Coast’s Petroci began buying Grove all-terrain cranes in 2016 and that trend continues in 2017 with the addition of a GMK5180-1. The company made the switch from another brand’s all-terrain range and hasn’t turned back thanks in part to the reliability of new Grove models and especially for the aftermarket service that Manitowoc provides the company.

Potain and Grove cranes inspire sales at Turkish trade fair Komatek

Potain and Grove cranes were showcased at international construction equipment trade fair Komatek 2017 in Ankara Turkey this May. Manitowoc was represented at the show through two of its Turkish dealers Istanbul-based TeknoVinç and Ankara-based Karun. Potain distributor TeknoVinç displayed a Hup 32-27 and a MDT 219 at the show while Grove distributor Karun presented a GMK6300L.

NFT celebrates 30 years of partnership with Potain and unveils huge new facility

Leadership from both Manitowoc’s Potain brand and NFT its distribution partner for much of the Middle East gathered in Abu Dhabi UAE to celebrate 30 years of cooperation and to view NFT’s new state-of-the-art facility. Since its inception in 1987 NFT has grown rapidly – in partnership with Potain – and today the company is the largest owner of Potain tower cranes in the world. To help service its huge fleet the company relocated its operations earlier this year to a major new location approximately 31 miles (50 km) from the center of Abu Dhabi.
