    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.

  • Grove améliore le modèle GMK6400-1 sous la dénomination GMK6450-1

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

  • Potain soutient le premier programme diplômant de monteur de grues à tour en France

    • La nouvelle initiative de la Potain Academy allie cours théoriques et formation pratique dédiés au montage de grues à tour.

Hermann Kranverleih puts the first Grove GMK5150L to work in southern Germany

Hermann Kranverleih is the first company to operate a Grove GMK5150L in the southern German region Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz). With a capacity of 150 t and a reach of 60 m the five-axle crane is ideally suited for tower crane assembly and other applications where strength at height is required. This latest addition to Hermann Kranverleih’s fleet is equipped with an 18 m bi-fold swingaway jib a heavy-duty jib and a second lifting winch that the company is using to place wall panels for building construction.

Contractors use Grove GHC75 to assemble Manitowoc crawler on tough terrain

Mosites Construction & Development Company (Mosites) is working on a $93 million infrastructure project that will add seven new bridges along four miles of highway on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Pittsburgh. The pier caps of the first bridge have already been completed and two Manitowoc cranes – a Manitowoc MLC165-1 and a Grove GHC75 – were crucial to the success of the project.

Manitowoc MLC300 with fixed-position counterweight completes wind project ahead of schedule

One North American construction company that works in the renewable energy sector discovered the time-saving and logistical benefits of using a Manitowoc MLC300 with fixed-position counterweight (FPC) to construct wind towers. White Construction is the first customer to use the crane which features the same best-in-class load charts and compact footprint as the original MLC300 but utilizes a fixed-position counterweight instead of a Variable Position Counterweight (VPC).

Musselli hails delivery of Grove GMK5250L at GIS 2017

Italian rental company Musselli celebrated the purchase of a new Grove GMK5250L crane at GIS 2017 in Piacenza Italy. Musselli based in Northern Italy purchased the crane in the runup to the tradeshow and it is set to be delivered in November.

Baldini Group celebrates purchase of Grove GMK4100L-1

Baldini Group celebrated the purchase and imminent delivery of a Grove GMK4100L-1 crane at the GIS 2017 tradeshow in Piacenza Italy. The well-established rental company based in Northeast Italy purchased the 100 t all-terrain crane at the event and it is scheduled for delivery in November.

Davies Crane Hire in the UK adds two long boom Grove cranes

UK crane rental company Davies Crane Hire is the latest to bolster its fleet with the addition of long boom Grove all-terrain cranes. The company which has its headquarters in Carmarthen South Wales received a 300 t capacity GMK6300L and a 100 t capacity GMK4100L-1. The 100 t machine is based at the company’s main depot in Carmarthen while the 300 t unit operates out of its Port Talbot location although both cranes will travel extensively to offer coverage of the entire South Wales region and beyond.

Manitowoc and FIMI celebrate 25-year partnership at GIS 2017

Manitowoc and FIMI have marked 25 years of partnership by celebrating at GIS 2017 in Piacenza Italy. The dealership based in San Benedetto del Tronto central Italy has supplied Manitowoc products since 1992. FIMI is responsible for the distribution of the Grove range of mobile cranes in the southern parts of Italy and the islands of Sicily and Sardinia. It also manages Manitowoc Crane Care aftersales support in the country.

Two more Grove GMK5150L cranes sold at Australia’s CICA 2017

The Grove GMK5150L all-terrain crane stole the limelight at this year’s Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) 2017 Conference. A unit purchased by Cranes Combined of Tasmania was displayed on the Manitowoc booth and the company confirmed two further sales during the show before staging a hugely successful auction of a carved model at the event’s gala dinner. The GMK5150L which launched into Australia earlier this year has already established itself as one of the country’s most popular choices in the five-axle category.

Potain dealers from across Europe and Africa convene in Spain to strategize over customer solutions and support

Manitowoc Cranes hosted more than 200 representatives from the Potain tower crane dealer network for a special convention in Barcelona Spain on October 12th and 13th. The dealers came from all across Europe up to Russia and down to Africa for the summit that had a heavy focus on Potain tower cranes and customer support.
