Raubex Building, a leading South African construction company, has taken delivery of a new Potain MCT 185 topless tower crane to support the construction of a key housing project in South Africa. The new development is set for completion in November 2026.

• The Igo T 139 will be the biggest self-erecting crane from Potain

• The GMK6450-1 is the upgraded GMK6400-1, with a new 450 t maximum capacity rating.

• The crane features a striking new design, accompanied by updated cabs for both the carrier and the superstructure.

• The replacement for the RT770E and GRT880 is currently built in Shady Grove, Pa., U.S.; plans are underway to build the model in Niella Tanaro, Italy.
• It is the first Grove rough-terrain crane to offer the Grove CONNECT™ telematics system.

• The 64 t maximum capacity of the new MR 819 is twice that of the existing Potain MR 608B and MR 618  luffing jib tower cranes.
• The 70 m jib can be raised to create an out-of-service radius of just 16 m, making the crane ideal for congested jobsites.
• A powerful new winch, Potain CONNECT™, and Ultra View cab also feature.

• Lawson Haulage and Crane Hire has added a Grove GMK5250XL-1 all-terrain crane to its fleet: its largest mobile crane and first Grove.
• The 250 t capacity crane has a 78.5 m long and strong boom, giving the company access to new contracts across northern England and southern Scotland.
