    • While the compact chassis, reach and capacity are ideal for the semiconductor plant’s construction, the company says that the crane’s flexibility and versatility will enable use on various future projects.

  • South Korea’s Lee Gang adds a Grove GMK5250XL-1 to the fleet

    • The customer will use the Grove GMK5250XL-1 to support the construction of a new semiconductor plant in South Korea, a major hub for microelectronics.
    • The all-terrain crane was chosen for its compact five-axle design, extended reach, and high capacity. 

  • Manitowoc launches largest topless tower crane from Asia Range: the Potain MCT 2205

    • With an 80 t maximum capacity and an 80 m jib, the new crane raises the bar for the topless range built at Manitowoc’s Chinese facility.
    • Maximum capacity is available up to 26.3 m in full configuration, with a 23.5 t payload possible at 80 m.
    • The flat-top design adds transport, assembly, and operational benefits to the performance capabilities previously only offered by similar-sized hammerhead models.

  • Grove upgrades the GMK6400-1 to GMK6450-1

    • Grove responded to customer demand for a higher-capacity crane by introducing the Grove GMK6450-1.
    • The updated nomenclature aligns with customer feedback and more accurately highlights the crane’s superior lifting capabilities in the six-axle category.
    • The nominal maximum capacity rating increases from 400 t to 450 t.

  • Fast-growing Indian real estate company Aparna Group expands with major order for Potain cranes

    • Aparna Group is boosting its capabilities with a large number of Potain MCT 85 cranes. The company now has over 40 cranes in its fleet. 
    • The latest deliveries have been put straight to work on a mix of the company’s high-profile real estate projects.

  • Manitowoc appoints VA Techsys as official Grove dealer in Thailand

    • VA Techsys will provide comprehensive support for the full range of Grove all-terrain and rough-terrain cranes in Thailand.
