Internal climbing setup enables Potain cranes to fast-track Boston tower

• The developers of One Congress, a 43-floor office block in downtown Boston, wanted to start leasing space on the lower floors while construction was still underway. 
• This required an intelligent approach to tower crane installation, so a Potain MR 415 and MR 418 were erected in the core of the building, in an internal climbing configuration.
• This setup also eliminated the need for larger, more expensive tower cranes.

Potain cranes lead construction on Chorus Life smart city project in Bergamo, northern Italy

• Santiago, Chile-based crane and construction equipment company has found that its first hydraulic topless luffing jib crane is ideal in constrained city projects due to its flexibility and versatility.
• One of the standout features of the MCH 125 is its VVH hydraulic luffing jib technology for raising and lowering the jib, which can move the jib from horizontal to 87° in less than two minutes.
• The crane is the first of its kind to arrive in Chile and South America.
