The Grove GRT655 rough terrain crane comes with a strong 34,8 m (114.3 ft) four-section, full power boom and it leads the pack with outstanding features typically only found on larger cranes: hydraulically tilting cab, Manitowoc's Crane Control System (CCS) with ECO mode and class leading chart capacities make this crane a jobsite winner. The GRT655’s compact size and footprint ensure that the crane can operate on narrow sites, even with the outriggers fully extended. Manitowoc’s Niella Tanaro plant adds new Grove GRT655/655L rough-terrain cranes to production line-up

The first Grove GRT655L and GRT655 rough terrain cranes have been assembled at Manitowoc’s Niella Tanaro plant. The news comes almost exactly one year after it was announced that GRT880 and GRT8100 rough terrain cranes would begin production from the Italian factory – the first to be produced outside of Shady Grove Pennsylvania USA. What’s more given the success of the production of GRT8100 and GRT880 models from Niella Tanaro Manitowoc has decided to expand the product portfolio of its European production.
