PT Saranabaja Perkasa orders first Grove all-terrain cranes

  • Indonesian rental company adds two GMK4100L units and a GMK5220.
  • The cranes will join the company’s equipment fleet which includes seven Grove RT cranes.

PT Saranabaja Perkasa has received three new Grove all-terrain cranes. Two are GMK4100L units while the third is a GMK5220. All were purchased from local dealer PT SH Machinery Indonesia. Hidayat president-director of PT Saranabaja Perkasa said there were several design features that attracted his company to the Grove brand.

“Grove all-terrain cranes are known for their powerful lifting superior off-road mobility and industry-leading reliability ” he said. “We are confident that they will help us maintain the high standards we set for ourselves. Sticking to these standards has given us a 30-year reputation for delivering equipment solutions to customers no matter how tough the conditions.”

The GMK4100L is a four-axle 100 t capacity crane with a 60 m main boom. The larger GMK5220 has a maximum capacity of 220 t and a main boom of 68 m which can be extended to 108 m with a jib. Based in Tangerang West Java Grove dealer PT SH Machinery Indonesia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sin Heng Heavy Machinery an equipment sales and rental company with operations in Singapore Malaysia Myanmar and Vietnam. 

These latest acquisitions for PT Saranabaja Perkasa are the company’s first all-terrain cranes from Grove although it does own seven Grove rough-terrain cranes. These include the RT600E RT650E RT700E RT745 RT750 and RT890E. The company also runs earthmoving and other equipment. In addition to its rental fleet PT Saranabaja Perkasa works as a contractor.
