Manitowoc Cranes honors Matebat and Arcomet with ceremony at CONEXPO 2017
Manitowoc Cranes held a special ceremony for Matebat France’s leading Potain dealer and Arcomet the largest tower crane rental company in Europe at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada. The companies celebrated their long-standing partnership and placed special focus on Matebat’s sales performance in 2016 during which the company sold 85 Potain tower cranes. Barry Pennypacker CEO of Manitowoc joined Matebat and Arcomet on stage to commemorate the occasion with a champagne toast.
Matebat boasts some 1 000 Potain tower cranes in its rental fleet—the largest in France. The company was founded in 1982 and has since positioned itself as the premier tower crane provider in the region growing by an average of 20 percent per year and expanding to eight regional offices.
Belgium-based Arcomet was founded in 1968 and has grown into one of the largest crane rental companies in the world specializing in tower cranes and self-erecting cranes. Between the two companies Arcomet and Matebat have nearly 2 000 cranes at their disposal.
