Coast Crane adds Manitowoc rough-terrains
Manitowoc and Coast Crane Company a subsidiary of Essex Rental Corp. celebrated a major order of Grove rough-terrain cranes at CONEXPO 2011.
The order was for a variety of rough-terrain cranes for a total of 12 including two new RT9150Es the newest RT from Grove launched last year. It is the largest rough-terrain crane currently in production globally.
“Coast Crane made a major investment in its rental fleet and in its continuing relationship with Manitowoc Cranes ” said Dave Hull senior vice president of sales for Manitowoc North America.
Hull said the RT9150Es specifically would be a major benefit to Coast Crane’s business.
“We’re confident that these state of the art cranes will help us significantly grow our rental business and provide a strong return on investment because of the cranes’ class leading reach and capacity ” said Terry Howard executive vice president and COO of Coast Crane.

Coast Crane bought the cranes from Manitowoc as part of its relationship with Manitowoc as a direct customer.
