Arabi Enertech K.S.C strengthens fleet with 13 new Groves

•    Arabi Enertech K.S.C expands fleet with 13 new Grove cranes with support from leading distributor Equipment Co. W.L.L.
•    The majority of cranes have been sent to work on oil fields in Kuwait.
•    The Grove RT530E-2’s main boom is capable of handling the intense weight of multi-ton rigging operations.

To meet growing demands from customers and in an effort to expand its business Kuwait’s Arabi Enertech K.S.C acquired 13 new Grove cranes for an oil and gas project. The cranes were supplied to the company by one of Kuwait’s leading crane distributor’s Equipment Co. W.L.L.

The cranes include three Grove GMK3055 models four GMK4080-1 models four GMK5130-2s one GMK6300L and one RT530E-2. The majority of the cranes have been sent to work on oil fields in Kuwait.

Khalid Behbehani chief operating officer at Arabi Enertech said his company selected the cranes to help meet the oil sector’s rising demand for heavy equipment.

“As an oil and gas contractor we require a number of cranes to carry out routine maintenance work on the oil fields and refineries ” he explained. “We have been buying Grove cranes for a number of years and have always been satisfied with their performance and the after sales support. In particular we like to utilize the Grove RT530E-2’s main boom which is capable of handling the intense weight of multi-ton rigging operations.”

The three-axle Grove GMK3055 has a capacity of 55 t and features a 43 m boom with Twin-Lock pinning while the 80 t capacity GMK4080-1 features a 51 m boom. The Grove GMK5130-2 features a 60 m six section main boom while the 300 t capacity GMK6300L offers the longest boom in its class at 80 m and this can be extended further with a 37 m jib. The RT530E-2 has a capacity of 30 t and features a 29 m four section full-power boom.

Arabi Enertech K.S.C was founded in 1978 and works mainly in the contracting construction and oil and gas industries in Kuwait.
