Manitowoc is showing the Potain MR 160 C luffing jib tower crane for the first time in North America at Crane Days 2018. Visitors to the event in Shady Grove Pennsylvania will be the first in the region to see this tower crane in action.

Visitors to Manitowoc’s Crane Days 2018 event are the first in North America to see the new best-in-class Grove GMK4090 all-terrain crane. It’s one of several cranes debuting at the Crane Days event which highlights the innovation and velocity that comes with following The Manitowoc Way and has resulted in several new crane models for 2018.

Manitowoc has introduced the National Crane NBT50L Series of boom trucks at Crane Days 2018 in Shady Grove Pennsylvania. The new line of cranes is an update to the popular NBT50 Series adding more boom length for increased versatility on the job site. Visitors to Crane Days are the first in the world to see the next-generation boom trucks in action.

Manitowoc Cranes is showcasing a selection of all-terrain rough terrain and tower cranes at Vertikal Days 2018 taking place at Donington Park UK between 16 and 17 May 2018.

Manitowoc Cranes has announced a new extended warranty program for the Grove GRT series of rough-terrain cranes. The program consists of a two-year standard warranty on newly ordered cranes complemented by three additional tiers of total extended coverage for three four and five years.

Long-term Potain partner Valente Grue Assistance has received the Manitowoc Award for “Best Self-Erecting Cranes Sales Progression 2017” after achieving outstanding sales results last year.

Six Potain tower cranes are helping construct a unique development in Serbia’s capital city Belgrade. The development named Belgrade Waterfront is the first of its kind in the country and will see 1.8 million sq. m added to the city’s riverfront. It will feature over 6 000 residencies as well as offices hotels shopping malls and more.

Manitowoc has recognized its longest-serving distribution partner for Potain tower cranes at Intermat Paris 2018. Luxembourg dealer ELWE has been selling Potain cranes for 66 years having begun its partnership with the French crane brand in 1952.

Manitowoc Cranes has announced the third winner of its prestigious Dealer Awards during Intermat 2018 in Paris France. Réunion Island-based dealer Grues Levage Investissements (GLI) won the award for ‘Best Overseas Dealer Mobile and Tower’.

The fourth winner of Manitowoc’s Intermat Dealer Awards is Stirnimann Manitowoc’s Swiss and Austrian distribution partner for Potain and Grove cranes. Stirnimann won the award due to its rapid growth in the Austrian market despite only establishing a presence in the country in 2015.
