    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.

  • Grove améliore le modèle GMK6400-1 sous la dénomination GMK6450-1

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

  • Potain soutient le premier programme diplômant de monteur de grues à tour en France

    • La nouvelle initiative de la Potain Academy allie cours théoriques et formation pratique dédiés au montage de grues à tour. 
    • Les participants recevront un diplôme reconnu par l’État à l’issue d’un programme de dix semaines, contribuant ainsi au développement professionnel des monteurs de grues à tour.

In Denver Colorado a massive new infrastructure project is underway. The North Metro Rail Line is an 18.5-mile electric commuter rail system that will connect Denver’s Union Station with many of the city’s northern suburbs. Ten miles of the track have been completed so far along with six of the train line’s eight stations.

Grove cranes to help Thailand power up

The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) in Thailand has ordered eight Grove GMK2035E all-terrain cranes. The cranes are new additions to the PEA fleet which already includes six GMK2035 cranes. The GMK2035 is the predecessor to the GMK2035E and PEA purchased these back in 2000. The state-owned enterprise plans to use the cranes to erect electrical poles and install transformers at sites around Thailand.

Quatorze grues Grove effectuent de concert un levage exceptionnel pour un projet d'établissement industriel

Aertssen Kranen a exécuté un des levages les plus spectaculaires de ces dernières années sur le plan visuel grâce à 14 grues Grove utilisées simultanément pour lever une conduite imposante dans le cadre d'un projet d'établissement industriel à Anvers en Belgique. Les grues ont levé la conduite pour la placer temporairement au-dessus des eaux du port de la ville. Ce type de conduite sert généralement à transporter des boues jusqu'à l'usine. Chaque grue a levé une section de 6 1 t de la conduite placée sur son propre ponton pour flotter dans le port.

Manitowoc 11000-1 scales Wisconsin ski hill to build retaining wall

Wren Works used a Manitowoc 11000-1 crawler crane to help build a retaining wall at the Mont du Lac Resort a skiing destination in Superior Wisconsin. Utilizing 140 ft of boom the 110 USt crane lifted an 18.5 USt pile hammer to heights of 75 ft to drive a series of 14 H-piles into the ground. Gangs of timber that weighed 0.5 USt were then lifted to a height of 60 ft and inserted between the piles creating a foundation for the retaining wall that will eventually shore up the resort’s new banquet room.

In Rogers Arkansas a Grove GHC75 telescoping crawler crane played a pivotal role in a project to rehabilitate a long-neglected city park enabling contractors to rebuild the park’s infrastructure amid tight quarters and challenging terrain.

Manitowoc cranes complete 10 years of lifting at landmark Chernobyl site

With the arched shelter now complete over the disused Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine many of the Manitowoc cranes employed on the project have been dismantled. Five of the eight Potain tower cranes have left the job as have both Manitowoc 2250 crawler cranes. The cranes provided the majority of the heavy lifting work for the largest land-based moving structure ever built.

Grove GRT880 to be shown for first time in North America at CONEXPO 2017

Manitowoc will feature one of its newest rough-terrain cranes at its booth for CONEXPO 2017: the Grove GRT880. This crane has several class-leading capabilities and Manitowoc’s Crane Control System (CCS). It will be shown in the company’s booth; Gold Lot stand G3348.
