Manitowoc wins bid to provide Grove GMK4060HC all-terrain cranes to U.S. Army

Manitowoc Cranes was awarded a $28.2 million contract to provide Grove all-terrain cranes to the U.S. Army. The GMK4060HC cranes (HC for heavy crane) are specifically engineered for military use and have unique features that make them suitable for job sites on a variety of terrains. The contract is expected to be fulfilled in 2020.

Stephenson Equipment Inc. takes delivery of new National Crane NTC55L and celebrates customers at ICUEE

Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI) a Harrisburg Pennsylvania-based National Crane dealer took delivery of its fourth new NTC55L boom truck at the 2019 International Construction and Utility Exposition (ICUEE). According to Darin D’Ascanio territory manager for SEI the new crane will be attractive to customers in many different segments including utility work tree care and crane rental.

Western Pacific adds the new National Crane NBT30H-2 TM boom truck to its fleet

Manitowoc and Western Pacific Crane and Equipment (Western Pacific) celebrated the Fontana California-based dealer’s purchase of a new National Crane NBT30H-2 TM boom truck at the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE). The crane was on display at Manitowoc’s booth during this year’s show which was held October 1 – 3 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville Kentucky.

Manitowoc appoints new sales director for Brazil

Manitowoc Cranes has appointed Luciano Dias as the new sales director for Brazil. In this role Dias is charged with furthering The Manitowoc Way in Brazil bringing increased velocity and innovation to its operations in the country. He leads both sales and customer support on all of Manitowoc’s product lines available in the country. He is also responsible for Manitowoc’s training center located in Sao Paulo which serves technicians across Latin America.

Grove TMS500-2 assists helicopter to install antenna on radio tower in Maryland

Digging and Rigging a crane and rigging company based out of Mount Airy Maryland deployed a Grove TMS500-2 truck crane to assist a helicopter with the installation of a new radio tower in Clear Spring Maryland. The helicopter air-lifted the 5-USt tower antenna while the truck crane helped tail it until it was in a complete vertical position.
