• The 450-US t crane is already busy performing various lifts in the Portsmouth-Newport News area in Virginia.
• W.O. Grubb opted to purchase the crane for its self-erecting MegaWingLift™ and ability to mobilize with the boom in the boom rack.

Grove GMK5250XL-1 extends helping hand to German soccer club VfB Stuttgart

• German crane rental company Gräser-Eschbach used its Grove GMK5250XL-1 all-terrain crane to help with a stadium renovation project.
• Using a crane with a telescopic boom was the only way to lift heavy components into place below the overhanging stadium roof.
• The crane’s MAXbase flexible outrigger option helped navigate space restrictions, counterweight reductions, and the need to extend the 8-section boom to long radii.

Singapore’s first Potain MCT 1005 helps advance prefabricated construction

• The Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) method increases productivity on-site but depends on powerful and reliable tower cranes.
• Main contractor, Debenho, has selected Singapore’s first Potain MCT 1005 to construct a new PPVC housing development. The crane was purchased by Manta Equipment and rented to the main contractor Debenho for the project to place the precast modules.

World’s first Potain MR 229 luffing jib tower crane erected in London, UK

• Radius Group has deployed the world’s first Potain MR 229 luffing jib tower crane for a housing project on Greenwich Peninsula in London, UK.
• Ideal for confined high-rise jobsites, the MR 229 boasts a 14 t maximum capacity, 30 to 55 m jib lengths, a choice of two high-performance winches, and a reduced out-of-service radius.
• The MR 229 is also the first Potain luffing jib crane to include Manitowoc’s CCS operating system and Potain CONNECT telematics – and leads the way for a new generation of Potain luffers.

Saving time and space with the new Potain MCR 305

• The latest luffing jib crane from Potain can reach a height of 190 m with almost half the anchorage points required by similar models.
• It also has a smaller out-of-service radius, optimizing space on jobsites for better productivity and profitability.
• There are two versions available: one with a maximum capacity of 20 t and a 3.1 t tip load with a 60 m jib. The other with a maximum capacity of 25 t and a 3 t tip load with the same 60 m jib.

Dutch prefab specialist buys first Grove crane and immediately sets it to work

• VDL De Meeuw, a prefab specialist construction company in the Netherlands, received its first Grove crane in March 2023.
• The company is using it to construct seven residential buildings in NDW21, a growing neighborhood in the city of Nijmegen.
• The crane’s fast performance, taxi capabilities, and excellent load charts make it the perfect choice for the job.
