  • Huit grues Potain s’associent pour construire l’impressionnant nouveau bâtiment CityWave à Milan

    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.
    • Ces deux sociétés, utilisatrices de longue date des grues à tour de Potain, ont travaillé aux côtés de l’équipe Lift Solutions de Manitowoc pour sélectionner une combinaison parfaite de huit grues adaptées à la forme unique du bâtiment à mesure de l’avancement de la construction.

  • Grove améliore le modèle GMK6400-1 sous la dénomination GMK6450-1

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

  • Manitowoc présente la nouvelle grue à montage automatisé Potain Igo M 24-19 au salon Batimat à Paris

    • Cette grue offre de multiples configurations pour une polyvalence et une efficacité maximale sur les chantiers.
    • Le modèle Igo M 24-19 est idéal pour la construction de maisons neuves ou pour les projets de rénovation.

  • Potain soutient le premier programme diplômant de monteur de grues à tour en France

    • La nouvelle initiative de la Potain Academy allie cours théoriques et formation pratique dédiés au montage de grues à tour. 
    • Les participants recevront un diplôme reconnu par l’État à l’issue d’un programme de dix semaines, contribuant ainsi au développement professionnel des monteurs de grues à tour.

Potain to show groundbreaking Hup 40-30 for first time in North America at CONEXPO 2017

Visitors to CONEXPO 2017 will be the first in North America to see the groundbreaking Potain Hup 40-30. This self-erecting crane was first previewed as a prototype at bauma 2016 in Munich Germany and officially launched at the Manitowoc factory in Niella Tanaro Italy in September 2016.

Pair of GMK5250Ls completes tandem lift in tight quarters at Bamberg port

Merkel Autokrane recently faced a special challenge at Bamberg port. Its job was to lift a port crane and laterally load it onto a ship. The port crane weighed 92 t and was 18 m in height and was installed on a 3.5 m quay wall which limited the available space for another crane to lift it as it would have to be positioned between the quay wall and the Main-Danube canal.

Manitowoc used bauma China 2016 to highlight its industry-leading innovation with the presentation of two new tower crane models: the prototype MCH 120 which is still in development and the MCR 295 which is now commercially available. Sir Robert McAlpine works on prestigious project at Wimbledon

Leading UK construction and civil engineering company Sir Robert McAlpine has secured a contract to install a retractable roof for No.1 Court at the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament Wimbledon. To help complete the project the company acquired four new Potain MR 608 cranes at the beginning of August with work for the units starting in September.

Potain MDT 98 plays a role in Verona Arena production

A Potain MDT 98 tower crane was used at the famed Verona Arena in Italy to change theatrical sets between productions for its entire 2016 opera season. Verona Italy-based Toffoli Macchine rented the 6 t crane for the project which had the crane use its 55 m jib radius to reach over the arena’s walls and assemble sets during the day. By night the crane helped dismantle the scenery. The MDT 98 replaced a Potain GTMR 386 B that was formerly used for this job for 15 years.
