  • Huit grues Potain s’associent pour construire l’impressionnant nouveau bâtiment CityWave à Milan

    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.
    • Ces deux sociétés, utilisatrices de longue date des grues à tour de Potain, ont travaillé aux côtés de l’équipe Lift Solutions de Manitowoc pour sélectionner une combinaison parfaite de huit grues adaptées à la forme unique du bâtiment à mesure de l’avancement de la construction.

  • Grove améliore le modèle GMK6400-1 sous la dénomination GMK6450-1

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

  • Manitowoc présente la nouvelle grue à montage automatisé Potain Igo M 24-19 au salon Batimat à Paris

    • Cette grue offre de multiples configurations pour une polyvalence et une efficacité maximale sur les chantiers.
    • Le modèle Igo M 24-19 est idéal pour la construction de maisons neuves ou pour les projets de rénovation.

  • Potain soutient le premier programme diplômant de monteur de grues à tour en France

    • La nouvelle initiative de la Potain Academy allie cours théoriques et formation pratique dédiés au montage de grues à tour. 
    • Les participants recevront un diplôme reconnu par l’État à l’issue d’un programme de dix semaines, contribuant ainsi au développement professionnel des monteurs de grues à tour.

Grove GMK5250L gives one German city a pool with a view

“Sky” is a new architecturally stunning high-rise tower that is being built in the German town of Bietigheim-Bissingen. Sky tower is being constructed on a 3 300 m2 site that once held a freight depot. When complete it will rise 18 stories (approximately 220 ft) making it one of the tallest buildings in the city.

Italy’s Vernazza Autogru takes two more Groves strengthening its fleet

One of Italy’s premier lifting companies is once again taking action to ensure it has one of the strongest crane fleets in the region. Genova’s Vernazza Autogru (Vernazza) has just added two new Grove all-terrain cranes a GMK5250L and a GMK6400. The company has purchased the two cranes to increase its return on investment choosing two models that are extremely flexible and have features that can increase efficiency.

Grove rough-terrain cranes improve efficiency at Chilean pellet plant

A trio of Grove cranes has improved daily tasks as well as more complex lifting applications for Compañía Minera del Pacífico (CMP). The company runs an iron-ore pellet production plant in Huasco in the Atacama region where three Grove rough-terrain cranes are crucial tools for the operation.

Seven new Grove cranes for MSG Krandienst

MSG Krandienst has expanded its fleet with seven Grove all-terrain cranes. The Kehl Germany-based company added the cranes to increase its flexibility in responding to customer needs. It took delivery of the first six of these cranes—four GMK3060s and two GMK4080-1s—from Manitowoc’s Wilhelmshaven plant. In April the company will add the seventh a Grove GMK5150L.

Lambertsson Kran is the world’s first company to pair K-100 synthetic rope with a Grove all-terrain crane

Sweden’s Lambertsson Kran is taking delivery of two innovative products that are sure to increase efficiency and return on investment for its fleet: a Grove GMK4100L-1 and Samson K-100 synthetic rope. The company will use the crane and K-100 together which not only marks its first foray into synthetic rope but also the first time that a company has paired the product with an all-terrain crane globally.

New Hungary dealer strengthens technical support

The program took place at the Manitowoc facility in Wilhelmshaven Germany where the company’s range of Grove GMK cranes are built. The certified ‘GMK Technician’ training was administered by Manitowoc Crane Care and following his induction Bodnár will now deliver training to a further four Axial field technicians.

Grove GMK5220 delivers a lesson in engineering excellence at Manila’s Far Eastern University

At the Far Eastern University in the Philippines’ capital city Manila there was much head scratching about the best way to remove an old inefficient air-conditioning system from an 11-story building and replace it with a new one. But after assessing the project site a joint venture of two contractors concluded the job could be finished by a single crane – the Grove GMK5220 all-terrain crane – and what’s more work could be wrapped up in just one day.

Petro Sea Logistics invests in Grove all-terrains and their aftermarket support

Petro Sea Logistics a joint venture between Belgium’s Sea-Invests and Ivory Coast’s Petroci has added a Grove GMK6400 all-terrain crane to its fleet. The purchase not only reflects the JV’s desire for a quality crane that can handle the rigors of the oil business but also for top-notch service and support provided through the partners of Manitowoc Cranes.
