  • Huit grues Potain s’associent pour construire l’impressionnant nouveau bâtiment CityWave à Milan

    • CMB et Colombo Costruzioni, deux des noms les plus respectés du secteur de la construction en Italie, s’associent pour la construction d’un tout nouveau projet révolutionnaire avec la pré-certification LEED Platine, qui sera le tout premier bâtiment à usage mixte de Milan avec un impact environnemental nul.
    • Ces deux sociétés, utilisatrices de longue date des grues à tour de Potain, ont travaillé aux côtés de l’équipe Lift Solutions de Manitowoc pour sélectionner une combinaison parfaite de huit grues adaptées à la forme unique du bâtiment à mesure de l’avancement de la construction.

  • Grove améliore le modèle GMK6400-1 sous la dénomination GMK6450-1

    • Grove a répondu à la demande des clients à la recherche d’une grue dotée d’une capacité supérieure en proposant le modèle GMK6450-1 de Grove.
    • La mise à jour de la dénomination répond aux retours des clients et met plus précisément en avant les capacités de levage supérieures de la grue dans la catégorie à six essieux.
    • La capacité nominale maximale passe de 400 t à 450 t.

  • Manitowoc présente la nouvelle grue à montage automatisé Potain Igo M 24-19 au salon Batimat à Paris

    • Cette grue offre de multiples configurations pour une polyvalence et une efficacité maximale sur les chantiers.
    • Le modèle Igo M 24-19 est idéal pour la construction de maisons neuves ou pour les projets de rénovation.

  • Potain soutient le premier programme diplômant de monteur de grues à tour en France

    • La nouvelle initiative de la Potain Academy allie cours théoriques et formation pratique dédiés au montage de grues à tour. 
    • Les participants recevront un diplôme reconnu par l’État à l’issue d’un programme de dix semaines, contribuant ainsi au développement professionnel des monteurs de grues à tour.

Winkler Crane upgrades to National NTC55L for better versatility

Winkler Crane a Truro Massachusetts-based crane contracting company needed an efficient versatile crane that was able to provide excellent performance on a wide range of applications. With business booming the company had to quickly replace its previous boom truck which had been damaged during a traffic accident. Rather than replace it with the same model Winkler Crane decided to upgrade the fleet with a higher capacity longer reach machine. The National Crane NTC55L boom truck was a perfect fit for the company’s needs.

Manitowoc wins bid to provide Grove GMK4060HC all-terrain cranes to U.S. Army

Manitowoc Cranes was awarded a $28.2 million contract to provide Grove all-terrain cranes to the U.S. Army. The GMK4060HC cranes (HC for heavy crane) are specifically engineered for military use and have unique features that make them suitable for job sites on a variety of terrains. The contract is expected to be fulfilled in 2020.

Stephenson Equipment Inc. takes delivery of new National Crane NTC55L and celebrates customers at ICUEE

Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI) a Harrisburg Pennsylvania-based National Crane dealer took delivery of its fourth new NTC55L boom truck at the 2019 International Construction and Utility Exposition (ICUEE). According to Darin D’Ascanio territory manager for SEI the new crane will be attractive to customers in many different segments including utility work tree care and crane rental.

Western Pacific adds the new National Crane NBT30H-2 TM boom truck to its fleet

Manitowoc and Western Pacific Crane and Equipment (Western Pacific) celebrated the Fontana California-based dealer’s purchase of a new National Crane NBT30H-2 TM boom truck at the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE). The crane was on display at Manitowoc’s booth during this year’s show which was held October 1 – 3 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville Kentucky.

National Crane announces ALT Sales as an Elite Dealer

The Richfield Ohio-based dealer ALT Sales Corporation (ALT Sales) a member of the ALL Family of Companies is the newest National Crane Elite Dealer. The announcement was made by Manitowoc at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) where two new National Crane boom trucks were on display.

Manitowoc appoints new sales director for Brazil

Manitowoc Cranes has appointed Luciano Dias as the new sales director for Brazil. In this role Dias is charged with furthering The Manitowoc Way in Brazil bringing increased velocity and innovation to its operations in the country. He leads both sales and customer support on all of Manitowoc’s product lines available in the country. He is also responsible for Manitowoc’s training center located in Sao Paulo which serves technicians across Latin America.

Manitowoc MLC300 helps accelerate bridge replacement in Washington

Ceccanti a Tacoma Washington-based construction company needed a crane with superior maneuverability that could handle heavy loads at great heights to assist with the replacement of an old wooden bridge in Ridgefield Washington. The contractor found the MLC300 crawler crane had the right features to get the job done in the shortest time possible.

Grove TMS500-2 assists helicopter to install antenna on radio tower in Maryland

Digging and Rigging a crane and rigging company based out of Mount Airy Maryland deployed a Grove TMS500-2 truck crane to assist a helicopter with the installation of a new radio tower in Clear Spring Maryland. The helicopter air-lifted the 5-USt tower antenna while the truck crane helped tail it until it was in a complete vertical position.

Manitowoc introduces new National Crane NBT60L boom truck

The Manitowoc Company has launched the NBT60L the latest addition to its National Crane boom truck product line. This 60 USt product offering now features the longest boom length in its tonnage class with 151 ft of main boom and a maximum main boom height of 161 ft. It can be equipped with an optional 36 ft off-settable lattice jib that reaches a 196 ft maximum tip height providing a winning combination of exceptional capacity and reach that is unmatched in the industry.

Manitowoc opens new facility in the Philippines

Manitowoc has opened a new 2 900 m2 facility with a warehouse and a workshop in Molino Cavite south of the Philippines capital Manila. The facility stocks parts for Potain tower cranes including popular models such as the MCR 160 MCR 225 A MCT 205 as well as parts for Grove mobile cranes such as the RT530E-2 RT765E-2 and the GMK6300L. Construction of the new facility was completed in July this year and Manitowoc staff have already moved in.
