Do you consider Manitowoc to be a culture that fosters teamwork?
Yes, Manitowoc provides the culture, framework, and tools that foster teamwork. We have an open culture build on solid company values with team-friendly atmosphere. We also have the tools and training from Team Leadership Development Process (TLDP), Leadership Development Process (LDP), and Accelerated Leadership Development Process (ALDP) to Six Sigma and Lean, which are all focused on team efforts and synergies.
What makes you most proud about working for Manitowoc?
I am passionate about my work and I strive to do my best for my team, our customers, and the company. Also, I am proud knowing I am contributing to the success of our company each and everyday.
What attracted you to a career with Manitowoc?
What attracted me to Manitowoc was the opportunity to contribute to an organization that is focused on doing their best. Being able to contribute to an organization that understands the need to evolve and grow if our business plans are to grow revenue, profitability, and shareholder value while at the same time satisfying and exceeding customer´s expectations.
What do you like most about your job at Manitowoc?
I most like the challenges I face each day, the variety of my work, and most of all - the other people I work with here at Manitowoc.
Which achievements are you most proud of?
I’m proud to be a driving force in the organization and to continually improve the way we do business and become a world-class employer of choice. I work to improve the lives of our employees and their families
Were your family/friends supportive of your decision to join Manitowoc?
Yes, my family was extremely supportive of my decision to join Manitowoc, especially after they were able to visit the area and meet the people that make The Manitowoc Company such a great place to work.
What information would you most like to share with a potential Manitowoc employee?
Manitowoc is a great company to work for and they and care about their employees. They offer great opportunities to people who contribute and help move us towards our goals.
What do you receive from the company in return for the contributions you make to your team/dept/company?
I receive the satisfaction of knowing I am contributing to a worthwhile cause. I get to work with great people. I am recognized for my contributions.
What are some of the things that make Manitowoc a successful company?
The people of Manitowoc make our company such a success because we are focused on doing the right things for the right reasons.
Where do you see yourself with the company in 5 years?
I see myself contributing to a growing company in more countries with more people, satisfying new needs and helping others do their best to serve our customers. I may be in the same role or a new one.
What career development opportunities have you been able to participate in at Manitowoc?
I have been fortunate enough to have participated in Advanced Leadership Development Program (ALDP) this past year. It was a great experience. I also have the opportunity to work alongside my fellow employees from all over the world. Their different backgrounds and experiences have made me develop new ways of thinking.
