Yes, we use the Integrated Product Development process, which brings together people from every area of the company to work together on projects. What makes you most proud about working for Manitowoc? I am proud of working with people who are passionate about what they do. What attracted you to a career with Manitowoc? I wanted to work for a company that was small enough that I wouldn´t be just a number, but large enough to offer many different opportunities. What do you like most about your job at Manitowoc? I enjoy the flexibility to work on different areas of crane design with every project. Which achievements are you most proud of? I am proud to have been selected for an overseas assignment this next year. Were your family/friends supportive of your decision to join Manitowoc? Yes, everyone was happy that I would be working for such a great company. What information would you most like to share with a potential Manitowoc employee? This is a great company to work for and there is a lot of opportunity here for people who share in the passion we have in our daily work. What do you receive from the company in return for the contributions you make to your team/dept/company? I receive support from managers and other employees, a good benefits package, and fair compensation. What are some of the things that make Manitowoc a successful company? Team work, hard work, and passionate employees. Where do you see yourself with the company in 5 years? Solving problems and providing innovative solutions to our engineering department. What career development opportunities have you been able to participate in at Manitowoc? I have been involved in Six Sigma training programs, Pro Engineer training, hydraulics theory and design programs, and I will be involved in an assignment with one of our overseas divisions. What additional comments would you like to share with someone considering employment with Manitowoc? I am very happy to be working here and I really do believe it is a great place to work. |
